Severus Snape intrigues me
Jan. 23rd, 2012 06:39 pmTheres just something so intriguing about people that live their lives in the shadows. My favorite character that represents what i'm refferring to perfectly is, of course, Severus Snape from HP. In the begining, he just came off to be some ominous hate hoarding lunatic, but ironically he died as what literature may call a "tragic hero" or simply in HP terms, "the slytherin that died as a gryffindor". For all you HP fans out here, I wont rant on why and how and blah xD; As for the rest of the world. Oh come on, who hasn't watched all the Harry Potter movies, if not the splendid novels themselves? I always found the quiet people intriguing because they seem to be miniscule, they seem to not care about us and the world and too absorbed in their own little worlds that they create for themselves, and we dont once consider the insane fiery passion that is kindled inside of them. They have dreams and hopes too, they just are subtle in carrying things out. It's that auroa of mystery that makes me want to know more about them. Sadly, Snape never did get to carry out his desires and whatnot, and that just makes him adorable in some sad tragic way, i cannot figure out why.
